Urlaub auf Hawai'i

In unserem diesjähriger Sommer/Winter Urlaub ging die Reise nach Hawai’i - Big Island – zwei Wochen Sommer, Sonne, Strand, Schnorkeln und Schwimmen mit Dolphinen ... Es war fanatastisch !!!

Le Canadien champion de l'Association Est

Le tricolor a assuré sa qualification aux séries. Il a ensuite enlevé le titre dans la division nord-est. Enfin, sa saison a été couronnée d'un championnat d'association. Yeah !!! En séries, le Canadien affrontera les Bruins de Boston en quarts-de-finale de l'Association Est.

Anne-Sophie Mutter at the Benaroya HallYesterday, I saw Anne-Sophie Mutter accompanied by Lambert Orkis at Seattle Symphony playing three sonatas for violin:

Brahms Violin Sonata No. 2 in A major, Op. 100
Brahms Violin Sonata No. 1 in G major, Op. 78
Brahms' Violin Sonata No. 3 in D minor, Op. 108

She also gave four additional pieces at the end including Brahms' lullaby. It was definitively one of the best concerts I ever heard.

Megan studiert in Fairbanks, Alaska und Jack in Duluth, Minnesota. In ihrer “spring break” haben sich die beiden auf halben Wege zwischen Alaska und Minnesota in Seattle getroffen. Über das Wochenende haben wir gemeinsam einen Ausflug nach Vancouver, British Columbia gemacht und meinen Freund Glenn und seinen neuen Hund Gummi besucht. Glenn hat uns auf eine tolle Wanderung geführt, während der wir den “Chief”, einen über 700 m hohen Granitfelsen in Squamish, bestiegen haben.
